Frequently asked questions

Everything prospective students ask before enrolling, answered straight.

What's the difference between the CE library and a Career Development Program?
The Continuing Education library is a catalog of individual online courses (typically 1–4 hours each) that licensed healthcare providers take to meet renewal requirements and stay current. A Career Development Program (such as our Restorative Nurse Assistant program) is a multi-part course of study that combines online theory with in-person clinical training and prepares a learner for an expanded role.
Do CE courses count for license renewal?
Each course awards a certificate of completion documenting the contact hours. Acceptance for license renewal depends on the licensee's board and discipline; Draco Learning provides the documentation and tracks the contact hours so providers have what they need for their renewal filing.
Who can take Draco Learning courses and programs?
CE courses are open to all licensed healthcare providers — CNAs, LVNs, RNs and the wider care team. Career Development Programs are open to qualified learners by program (the RNA program is built for current CNAs in good standing).
What is a Restorative Nurse Assistant (RNA)?
A Restorative Nurse Assistant is a CNA who has completed additional training in restorative care — helping residents regain or maintain their highest practical level of physical, mental, and psychosocial well-being through range-of-motion programs, ambulation and transfer training, restorative dining, bowel and bladder retraining, and other resident-centered interventions. See the full program details on our Programs page.
How long does the RNA program take and what does it cost?
The RNA program combines self-paced online theory with an in-person clinical experience, and most students finish in a few weeks. Full duration and tuition details live on the Programs page so they always reflect what we're running today.
What's your refund policy?
If you're not satisfied within 7 days of enrolling and have completed less than 25% of the program, you can request a full refund by emailing us. See our Terms of Service for full details.
Will I receive a certificate?
Yes. Every CE course and every program awards a Draco Learning Certificate of Completion documenting the contact hours and topic, suitable for your employee file and your license-renewal filing. Certificates confirm completion aligned with CDPH guidelines and CMS expectations; they are not a state license themselves.
Do you offer group enrollment for facilities?
Yes. Skilled-nursing facilities, assisted-living teams and home-health agencies can enroll their whole staff in the CE library or in a Career Development Program at a group rate. Reach out via the contact page and we'll get back to you within one business day.
