Frequently asked questions

Everything prospective students ask before enrolling, answered straight.

What is a Restorative Nurse Assistant (RNA)?
A Restorative Nurse Assistant is a Certified Nursing Assistant who has completed additional training in restorative care — the rehabilitative side of long-term care. RNAs help residents regain or maintain their highest practical level of physical, mental, and psychosocial well-being through range-of-motion programs, ambulation and transfer training, restorative dining, bowel and bladder retraining, and other resident-centered interventions.
Who can enroll in the RNA program?
The program is built for current Certified Nursing Assistants in good standing, but any adult learner interested in restorative care can enroll. CNAs who provide their license number receive an automatic $50 discount at checkout.
How long does the program take?
The Restorative Nurse Assistant program is 16 hours total: an 8-hour online theory component (entirely self-paced, completed on your own schedule — most students finish in a few days) plus an 8-hour minimum in-person clinical experience. The clinical portion can be completed in a single day or spread over up to a week if your schedule requires.
Is the program 100% online?
The theory portion (8 hours) is entirely online and self-paced. The clinical portion (8 hours minimum) is in person, where you demonstrate the restorative-care skills you learned online. Both are required to earn the certificate.
What does the program cost?
Tuition is $199 USD, paid one time at enrollment. Student discounts are available — current students of the SisuCare CNA program can submit proof of enrollment after checkout to receive a $50 refund. Payment is processed securely by Stripe. We accept Visa, Mastercard, and American Express.
What's your refund policy?
If you're not satisfied within 7 days of enrolling and have completed less than 25% of the program, you can request a full refund by emailing us. See our Terms of Service for full details.
Will I receive a certificate?
Yes. On successful completion of the program — including all required modules and the final assessment — you receive a Draco Learning Certificate of Completion suitable for your employee file. The certificate confirms restorative-care competency aligned with CMS expectations; it is not a state license.
Do you offer group enrollment for facilities?
Yes. Skilled-nursing facilities, assisted-living teams, and home-health agencies can enroll multiple staff at a group rate. Reach out via our contact page and we'll get back to you within one business day.
